The Lovepug Lens is a strength-based way of looking at the whole child—not just the data, the behavior, or the areas where they struggle.
What began with Romeo helped me put words around what twenty-six years in the classroom had already taught me: when children feel truly seen, their strengths become visible. And when those strengths are recognized and nurtured, children begin to see new possibilities in themselves.

Our job isn't to create their worth. It's to recognize it.
Every child has something that makes them light up—a talent, a curiosity, a sense of humor, a passion, a perspective that is uniquely theirs.
Find it. Name it. Celebrate it.
When we intentionally look for what a child does well, we begin to see more than the places where they struggle. We begin to see possibility.
Finding a child’s strength is only the beginning.
We build on it.
We give it a voice.
We create opportunities for it to grow.
